CIRCULAR ECONOMY AND ENVIRONMENT
DeltaComGroup has established itself as one of the industry’s most successful examples of Circular Economy. Guided by the principals of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, we have developed a circular model that consists of a continuous cycle of “regeneration” were equipment is repaired or refurbished to retain its functional value and later, resold or reused into other networks.
During the cycle we harvest materials (ie: heatsinks, components and mechanical parts) from non-functioning equipment that would have normally been discarded. By recycling DeltaComGroup is able to lower the cost of maintaining networks by prolong the life of the equipment while keeping the environment safe.
To achieve total circularity, DeltaCom has a number of strategies to address the challenges that arise, as is the case with our reverse logistics system through which transport routes are optimised with the aim of minimising carbon emissions.
Our efforts are also focused on reducing the irreparability of equipment for the future, reaching the zero-waste challenge.
OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH PERFORMANCE
We promote and comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to health and safety in the workplace. We develop and maintain preventive measures established in accordance with existing legislation and other future regulations. Employees are informed about the procedures in place to prevent hazards. We integrate, in daily operations, safety and health measures to achieve a working environment with maximum guarantees.
DCG also holds safety and health committee meetings every 3 months to assess performance and propose improvements, as well as awareness campaigns and training on Labour Risk Prevention, with the support of the Prevention Service.
All these actions contribute to DCG being a model company, with very low accident rates, the result of the effort and commitment of the organization at all levels, which allows us to approach the common goal of reaching a zero-accident horizon.
